A Fox Consulting is the data controller in respect of any personal data collected through this website and through our advertising and marketing activities.
2. What Personal Data We Collect
- Contact information: your full name and work email address.
- Communication data: anything you share with us by email or through a contact or booking form on this website.
- Marketing data: your preferences regarding marketing communications from us.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited, collected via cookies and analytics tools (see Section 8).
We do not collect any special category data as defined under Article 9 GDPR, including health, race, religion, political opinion or biometric information.
3. How We Collect Your Personal Data
- Directly from you, when you complete a lead form through our Meta advertising campaigns, book a call, complete a contact form, or email us directly.
- Through Meta’s platform, when you submit a Meta Instant Form. Meta acts as a data processor in this context; we are the data controller.
- Through Microsoft 365, when you book a call via Microsoft Bookings or submit a Microsoft Forms enquiry form. Microsoft acts as a data processor.
- Through cookies and analytics when you visit this website. See Section 8.
4. Why We Process Your Personal Data and Our Legal Basis
- To send you a resource you requested: performance of a contract / pre-contract steps, Article 6(1)(b).
- To send you marketing communications, where you’ve consented via a form disclaimer: consent, Article 6(1)(a). Withdraw anytime via the unsubscribe link or by emailing hello@afox.ie.
- To respond to your enquiries: legitimate interest in responding to communications directed to us, Article 6(1)(f).
- To improve our marketing using aggregated, anonymised campaign data: this does not involve identifiable personal data.
5. How We Use Your Data
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We share data with the following processors, only as needed to deliver our services:
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited — booking (Microsoft Bookings) and form (Microsoft Forms) tools. Microsoft’s privacy policy: privacy.microsoft.com.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — advertising and lead forms. Meta’s privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
- Automattic Inc. — our website host and Jetpack analytics provider (WordPress.com). Automattic’s privacy policy: automattic.com/privacy.
- Email service providers who send communications on our behalf, bound to process data only on our instructions.
- Professional advisors (solicitors, accountants), bound by confidentiality.
- Regulatory authorities, where required by law.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
Contact and marketing data: 2 years from your last interaction, then securely deleted, unless we have an ongoing relationship with you or a legal reason to retain it longer.
If you withdraw marketing consent, we remove you from our marketing list promptly and keep only a record of your opt-out.
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on it. Withdrawal doesn’t affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission: dataprotection.ie, or 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28.

8. Cookies
We only set non-essential cookies with your consent, given through the cookie banner on this site. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie Settings” in the footer. Consent is re-requested at least every six months.
